Dispensation from the bridging benefit scheme may be granted subject to specific conditions. Membership is compulsory for all players who are under contract to a Dutch club and live in the Netherlands. Clubs can apply for dispensation for an individual player. This may be granted, for example if the player under contract is awarded the fiscal “30% rule”. The conditions are set out in the ‘dispensation criteria’.
Applications for dispensation for a player under contract should preferably be submitted on a dispensation request form. The player in question must also sign a waiver.
